Suddi Raval, along with his band Together, created one of the biggest tracks of the rave scene - revolutionary not only in what it contained on a musical level, but what it sampled (the last ever Blackburn rave crowd), and how it became pivotal in the scene. When gatherings of thousands of young people came together (without any social media) it was a calling, a spiritual experience, a dancing revolution. Something which could have grown to be a cultural explosion akin to hip-hop was dampened by the authorities, but this led to Suddi and his bandmates making more and more music for the masses turning house music into the increasingly popular genre we have today. And it was all made in his head - without a single piece of sheet music or a piano in sight!
